SAE J217 Grade 17-7PH
SAE J217 Grade 17-7PH introduction
Grade J217 is a high-quality corrosion-resisting steel wire, cold drawn, formed, and heat treated to produce uniform mechanical properties. It is magnetic in all conditions. It is intended for the manufacture of springs and wire forms that are to be heat treated after forming to enhance the spring properties.
Equivalent material: DIN 1.4564, AISI 17-7 PH, AISI 17-7PH, SAE 17-7 PH, EN 1.4564, UNS S17700
